Twenty artists from the UK, Italy, France and Ireland have spent a week at Brierfield Mill, taking part in an unusual creative collaboration to help launch their careers as artists.
They’ve spent a week exploring the derelict seven acre mill complex and have
been working with established artists and other experts.
Their unique residency was planned just before work gets underway to transform
the huge Victorian development into a new destination for the North West called
Northlight.
Local residents and anyone interested in heritage and the arts should come and
see the results at an event called Crash! this Saturday from 12 noon – 3pm at the
garage building on Glen Way.
